I really liked Metro 2033, but always wished it was more of an RPG experience. I loved the world, the idea of looting bodies. It reminded me of Stalker, but far more ... solid, I guess, and the atmosphere was breathtaking. You really felt the desolation throughout the game. I wouldn't call it a corridor shooter

I think Gears 3 only felt short because it didn't have that underground section that 2 did, which felt really drawn out. Still, overall I think Gears 2 was a much better game, not because of length, but because... I guess presentation was a big part of it. I just had more fun with 2 than I did 3.

I'm thinking this is a pretty common condition after all these responses. Gamer Dysfunction? "Can't game, I got a case of GD."

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

4 strength, 4 stam leather belt? Level 18?

I'm seeing ads for Ready Player One on Kotaku now. I read this quite a while ago, but will go and say if anyone is looking for a fun, if somewhat pandering read, it's a pretty entertaining book.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that at all. haha

When I saw the original trailer/teaser for this game, I wasn't to keen on the whole stereotypical Asian gangster thing. It's like when they show up in underground racing movies and say 'yo' alot. I'm all for slick criminals ('cause bad guys are always awesome), but I'm wondering where this image comes from. Not

Why does everything have a bow now? Did people fall in love with the archery from Skyrim or something and decide that some way, some how, they were going to put a bow in their game?

What's wrong with buttons? I love buttons! I even named my dog Buttons! Hell, you show me a world map with tokens on each state/country/whatever and a crapload of buttons on all four edges of the screenshot and I will be like "I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS WORKS!"

You mean you don't want to play Homeworld, the FPS?

It's always on sale on Steam. You just gotta wait, but it seems to get into the daily rotation every few months or so.

They weren't all troops. Most of the guys they had fighting were conscripted men with little training. They handed them weapons and said move forward and if you think about running, I'll shoot you. Damned from behind and from the front, these poor saps rushed forward and simply overwhelmed the German forces by

I seem to be coming down with a case of gaming ADD. Normally i can sit down and do a good session for two hours or so, but now I seem to get bored after a half hour of anything, no matter how good it is. And it's not like I'm playing crappy games, either. I just don't want to play the same thing anymore and just

Rusty Hearts is a lot of fun, and so was Spiral Knights. The rest of the ones I've tried are very meh.

So you can basically start making something else entirely and not finish it? For shame, Fnor. For shame.

She's hot, no doubt about it. How come Slavic nerds are so hot? haha

The whole post-op tranny, transsexual, transgender etc. thing is in constant contention. It was a localization thing where they simply decided that Poison was a dude, so it was okay to beat the shit out of him (because media at the time were stringing up games for violence, as per usual). I don't think this was the

Chobot being a part of ME3 wasn't exactly well-received among the gaming community.

Is someone flipping tables??!
