Well, it's been pointed out to me that I don't understand Guardians of the Galaxy, and to be brutally honest - I don't. I didn't know it was a thing. I thought I was watching a stand-alone space adventure.

No no no! Let me explain. I like the music, but I hated how it was used in the trailer. It felt like "plot-master 3000" put together all of my favorite things so that I'd be sure to LOVE IT! A cute, bumbling idiot, a saucy raccoon, a simmering sexpot, and a homicidal thug all get together and are rebellious! Set to

Ha! you know, maybe the concept is kinda cute, but that trailer just rubbed me the wrong way, especially the "ooga chack ooga chaka, hooked on a feeling!" part. It felt so contrived. Idk, I'm kind of a jerk :-( Why can't I just learn to laugh, and love?

Exactly my thought. It looks cliched and boring and I HATE the choice of music, at least from the trailer. To me the whole thing was like, "Hey look! We're a bunch of quirky misfits, but we kick ass, mostly by misadventure!" Cue comically outdated music.

That is weird. They won't tell you your own blood type? I'm going to ask the next time I go to the doctor and see what happens.

My mother was Rh- and after her first baby, who was Rh+, they told her that she probably couldn't have any more that lived. She had 6 more, all Rh+, and never had to take any medicine or have any intervention. Just one of those wacky things.

That is a very interesting point. He should have at least overlaid her period for reference. I'm beginning to think that his method lacks vigor.

Agreed! His methodology leaves much to be desired. And yet he got published anyway, lucky devil.

Why would you sign an agreement like that? Unless they paid you a settlement?

After he gets to his feet, it really looks like he leaps in the air with some kind of acrobatic jump. While he's still on the train.

Geology fans need love, too.

This picture. I thought it looked like melt.

Let me try to find the picture. The surface of the interior crater reminded me of fusion crusting on meteorites a little bit. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw it.

Odd that they would say there is no evidence of thermal damage. I was looking at some of the photos of the inside of the crater earlier today and was pretty sure I was looking at thermal markings.

I gave to her fund. I felt really bad for her. She was trying her best. At nine years old, I used to play unsupervised all the time. In the summer I was out and about for most of the day. People are weird now.

I think people just think it's cute to say, "Ewwww! Speedos!!"

I feel so sorry for the mutt in the back! Such sweet eyes, too.

I hate all of these, too! Mmmmmmm feels good to hate.

Came here to say I love Neanderthals, and it makes me sad when they're compared to horrible people doing horrible things. I love guys with Neanderthal foreheads (David Boreanaz, Jason Momoa...) too. I long for their Jurassic Park-like return to the modern world.

I've been hammocking for 20 years now, and I love it. Back in the days before they made good "tent" hammocks, like they do now, I used to use a big, woolen mexican-style hammock that I would get into with a sleeping bag and then weave it shut over me, cocoon-like, with some little, flexible sticks.
