@Novaload: I've heard from several pilots that it has nothing to do with control and that the electronic interference thing is debatable. The real reason is, like they always say, for safety. If you have then entire plane not paying attention during take off and landing (when something like 95% of air travel accidents

@yodaddy: Call it spite or whatnot, but she was a Product Manager at Microsoft (she was in charge of BOB!!!!) before marrying Bill. I know a few Product Mangers and, because its their job, they are the most MS biased people I've ever met. I bet she has more of a hatred towards Apple products then Bill does.

@akarpens: RipIt, if you have a mac. It will rip whole dvd's, as well as compress them using Handbrake's converter. Its nothing that Handbrake doesn't do, but it's a stupid-simple, 1-click process.

@Riley Jabour: If you're going for voice work, you have a few different options. I've never been a fan of the AT 2020's, having used them in school and in the studio. I've had much better results using the Studio Projects B3, which is about the same price. I would focus on building a modular system that can be

@geolemon: I used to work for X10. They do sell a bunch of universal remotes that will also do RF to control your hardware.

@Skydog: SM57 or U87? People go batshit over old Urei 1176's too. Especially the whole "mash every button down" setting.

@wpc1532: Order one of these kits. It will void your warranty, but it swaps your DVD drive for a SSD. They also give you an enclosure for the DVD drive.

@OverdriveOstrich: What would be really cool is if they enable FaceTime to iChat, and then release a Windows client. Not sure if I would use it, but it would be a pretty smart move on Apple's part. I would argue that iTunes for windows is what really help the iPod take off, and if Apple is serious about video chat

@mricyfire: Or you just buy the learning edition for around $300, which also gives you access to their "education community" website that has free updates and a crapload of other learning editions of things like 3DS Max, Sketchbook Pro, etc. that you can download.

@DustyButt: I'm looking forward to all the N-bombs in 5.1. I want to literally feel the low end hatred of the tween who's day I just ruined.

@twothefutureandbeyond: Because the wax he uses includes a life time refill. You buy that crystal tub, they give you wax forever.

Starborn kinda reminds me of Quasar form the early 90's

@Tycho Vhargon: My deal breaker is that transmission shows the up/down speed in the dock. It might sound dumb, but I have a flakey connection sometimes, and I like to monitor what the client is doing without actually opening it.

ZumoDrive lets you play any music you have stored on your cloud. They have a pretty nice music function built into the the iPhone app, and they offer folder linking, so your ZumoDrive can update anytime you load something into iTunes.

@soldstatic: @soldstatic: With Getty, istock, etc. The best way to make money on your photos is by increasing their visability. If you make sure to keyword the hell out of them it's much more useful for a potential customer.

Is there a way to do this on a photo by photo or album basis? All I see is and yes or no.

@hypnotik_jello: Just like real estate, its all about location. The biggest problem with Clearwire is that they let pretty much anybody sell their service. Great for sales, but you seem to get a lot of shady sales people promising faster speeds then are possible because of the location.

I work at X10, 'nuff said.

Uh, you can also do this for free using Carbon Copy, even if you don't have leopard. linked here:
