I never understood this argument. Once the story goes outside the walls, the manga/anime hit you over the head with “fascism bad” with incredible aggression. As a former fleet-side person, ME! I had two alongside three full-sized transits. It is really the quasi-taxi/utility function. Even the smallest regular transit was too big and I would rather have a Transit Connect over a Dodge Caravan. That is why they have them to fight the leftover caravan fleet market.
