I like Lana Del Rey. It's weird watching women tear each other down.

I appreciate you two having this discussion, and I get both sides.
As a native Nashvillian I am sworn to hate Memphis, but I’ll put aside my blood oath to star your comment.
Have you ever been to Tennessee? It is definitely not a shithole.
There are a lot of non-racist people in the state. There’s Memphis and Nashville, which are the largest cities and traditionally very blue. Also, Dolly Parton lives here. It’s hardly the most racist state in the country. In fact, find me a state in this country that isn’t at least 80% racists.
Lots of white people (myself included) haven’t done shit about getting Racist Traitor Loser statues removed. Even if we aren’t hypocritical for criticizing her, we should at least recognize that people can wise up and learn to do the right thing.
I somehow feel Forrest would have hated Dolly. So double down on that shit.
I’m no fan of Taylor Swift, but it seems unfair to criticize her for also wanting Racist Traitor Loser statues removed.
I’m really confused about when I’m supposed to appreciate celebrities for speaking out against racism and when I’m supposed to judge them for it.
I guess that’s that, then. Thousands of people have been trying to get rid of the treasonous participation trophies for decades, but now Taylor Swift has weighed in! Argument OVER!
Too much sermonizing, too many awkwardly written and acted scenes, scattershot in its visual approach. Coming off the focused storytelling and filmmaking of Blakk Klansmen these flaws were especially glaring. It was too dispiriting for me to watch Spike flounder about so I shut it off after an hour. I shouldn’t be…
I agree, and I just thought about it and I can’t think of any notable Arrowverse characters who are LGBTQ that have died other than Sara who obviously has been brought back to life multiple times. And it’s not like they’re lacking representation.
No, you've got it backwards. The BTK was the leader of a K-Pop band. It's a huge time commitment, so it's amazing that he was still able to do all the murders at the same time.
same ballpark as killing a POC character first in a horror movie. introducing a gay character with the sole purpose of them dying to motivate a hetero main character is a thing that shouldn’t be a thing.
It shouldn’t do, but their deaths should be proportional to the deaths of hetero characters, and organic. No fridging.

I’ve long thought that Cops is basically just ‘let’s arrest poor people’ porn, so I’m not sad to see that go.
I’m with you here. There are many, many people and institutions who should be apologising for not addressing this situation (or, in some cases, the way they’ve so far attempted to do so), but why does a popular musical from a few years back have to have a position? Neither Miranda nor ‘Hamilton’ as an entity are…
Celebrities who haven’t publicized some kind of support for BLM are being called out as terrible people. So he was probably “called out” and this was his apology for not instantly vocalizing support.
