Totally get it. My electric company offered an interest free loan. Check with your electric company on that, they did the same for the hvac (10yr $10K interest free).
If you haven’t upgrade in your house you should probably get on that sooner than later. Half the fires in my town start from old electrical wires that people waited on upgrading.
Have to ask, why would you not want to fill at home? You save time and essentially money. Sure there is an upfront cost, but if I never had to make a 10-15min stop out of the way every day I would totally eat that $1,000 initial premium.
