nothing surprises me anymore...

I don’t understand why you are taking that persons tweet in a context that it shouldn’t be. They are saying 30 years, as in they’ve been saving their entire life and now all of it’s gone.

Was just elaborating on the point, but my wording sucked.

LOL that is the dumbest formula I’ve ever seen and I’ve been in finance for a long time.

I’d do it for $90k a year.

Your math doesn’t make any sense.

If a company goes bankrupt, it wouldn’t matter when you entered the position; you would lose it all.

He could but they won’t.

What he did would normally be a removal from CEO of any publicly traded company

Martha Stewart got a slap on the wrist and served 5 months in a minimum security jail where she could walk around freely. She finished it out her sentence in her estate where she was aloud to leave.

Doubt they did this, but it’s possible they put their savings all on a call option. That option expired and they lost all their money.

I guess I’m getting a crazy good deal because 5yd’s of dyed mulch cost me about $100-120 delivered total (free delivery), but to get the same from Home Depot (the cheapest junk would cost me $$200+ before taxes.

It’s okay it gets outweighed by the bro-dozzing douche driving that ensues after.

You don’t buy it because you need to educate yourself. This guy is completely avoiding taxes. He isn’t taking a write down, he’s completely avoiding it. Also getting a big gulp would count as travel expenses.

Actually all people who evade are dickheads. I don’t discriminate.

Bulk mulch delivery sucks. Have fun having your driveway blocked until you get all five yards of it moved. Plus it’s generally more expensive than getting bags of mulch from a big-box store when they go on sale around/before Memorial Day.

As I said to the other guy, yes I’ve made similar comments. But this article is on trucks, so try to stay on point.

I have yes, but this article is about over priced pick-up trucks. Try to stay on point.

I’m not assuming anything. I was stating that’s what a lot of truck buyers do to justify their purchase. I may need it this one time to haul lumber... but totally worth the extra cash for the one time convenience. OP actually even confirmed I was right in a later post.

Hay... stop trying to justify your dad’s deceit; it is unbecoming. Changing your name to numeric value doesn’t really help when you can’t delete any of your post history. You’ve literally disclosed where you lived, where you now live and basically have links to everything about you. My recommendation, again, is if
