I feel the same. It's fills a gap left by TWD in its violent weirdness and sense of place but after watching an episode I'm not itching to start another one.

Problem is I think ratings have fallen since last season :( smh America has no taste

Arya's chase through Braavo was pretty expensive wasn't it? Lots of extras and costumes anyway, plus I think they filmed in London. They did save money by showing the Meereen attack with CGI and sound effects.

You should try Happy Valley as well - it's a police drama set in north England. 6 episodes per season so very binge-able and fantastic lead actress.

It came quite late last year, around episode 7 I think. With a 2 hour finale and relatively low ratings I don't have high hopes. Showtime's production partner Sky hasn't been promoting it much.

"seeing Victor's hands added to the gruesome pile from this latest episode"

I found him chilling when he found Angelique in the room with his painting last season, more so as he had been so generous to her. Justine better watch her back.

As there's been no renewal announcement I fear the last two episodes are the show's finale. The preview certainly looks apocalyptic but the different storylines are rather scattered. Perhaps next episode Lily will break free and meet Ethan again. She has some fondness for Vanessa so if Van is under the spell of a man

Does no one on American TV understand that the people leaving Syria are mostly fleeing Assad's regime? He's killed, tortured, displaced and blockaded many, many more people than ISIS. He's not an Islamist, not even a radical one - he's just evil.

I just wrote on another page that I'm baffled the AVC doesn't feature Peakys. Seems right up their street with the A list stars and gorgeous cinematography, plus a complex anti-hero. I know it's not American but it's turning into of the seminal dramas about working class English people. Maybe Downton Abbey exhausted

Thank you for the heads up, I'll avoid this one and catch up with Peaky Blinders.

Nah, Loras is going to be the Faith's champion against The Mountain.

Errr Queen Sansa first, thank you very much.

I agree she won't want to tell him until she knows it's happening. After everything she's been through I believe it should be her decision alone whether to request LF's help and Jon would have pushed that decision one way or the other. He and Davos already ignored her about getting more soldiers even though she is the

Baratheons also gone, Tullys in a precarious situation, Arryn is one sickly boy, Dorne has no legitimate heirs.

She'll tell Jon when she knows the Vale army is on its way. Before then he could try to block it out of confidence in his tiny army. Remember it was her plan to retake Winterfell, not his, she's now more open on how they do it.

Cat was a Tully but her father's bannermen were under no obligation to send fighters to die for her. She needed her brother's approval to get the riverland lords' support & a marriage pact to get the Freys. Sansa and Jon have very little to offer.

Oh maybe not, I'm hoping Sansa can put two and two together though. She can certainly tell half truths about her aunt's final moments.

It's definitely Volantis. They showed the bridge which has all the wooden buildings on which Tyrion and Varys visited last season. I think she'd be tempted to kill him on sight anyway though.

True. I'm not sure how consistent the writers around about the practice of these religions.
