Yes, he was sailing with them to join Tommen/Cersei's Small Council.

Shh I avoided the trailers!
Would be cool though if she gets out of Dosh Khaleen through legitimate means rather than escaping. I thought Drogon was fully grown, wow hope the CGI is good.

Great point!

I might have got the order of the scenes mixed up but I think there is a time gap between Jaime's arrival at KL and news of Myrcella's death reaching Doran, which would allow for Trystane sailing home after dropping off the Lannisters. (I'm assuming the Water Gardens are a day or two from KL by boat).

I think he was back in Dorne after dropping Jaime, Bronn and Myrcella's corpse in Kings Landing. On arriving home he sent the message to Doran but was still in the boat when the Sand Snakes got him.

I don't think he's going to be on the Small Council anymore, he probably gave up that idea as soon as he found out Myrcella was dead.

They spoiled a key death in The 100 by doing this

no joke those stunt actors are pretty great

I think I remember it in the book and that it is hinted that Pod has a very large penis.

I'm hopeful for the Iron Islands actually as it has what D&D do well - hard men (Euron), political maneuvering like Littlefinger in S2, religious zealots (Damphair), taking a throne by force, and a big ship battle(s) when Euron attacks the Shield Islands and possibly the Citadel (where Sam will be). It could be

Either a) they followed Trystane's boat after it set sail from Dorne and jumped on it once Bronn and Jaime had got off at Kings Landing; b) Trystane sailed back to Dorne after Jaime got to Kings Landing; or c) Trystane took another boat back to Dorne before getting to Kings Landing.

because losing someone you love is worse than being killed to them

That would have wrecked Arianne's character though, leaving her not much better than Ellaria or the Sand Snakes.

Let's give the Iron Islands a chance. It will probably misfire but might come through, especially when they attack the Shield Islands and Reach (which will bring in Sam and possibly the Tyrells). It certainly has the potential to be more interesting than the book.

I would love to see a list of British character actors who haven't appeared on Game of Thrones (to date) pr Harry Potter, it must be pretty short. I'm expecting Toby Jones to pop up in Braavos next season.

I've been expecting that Dany doesn't go back to Slavers Bay but travels from/with the Dothraki west to where she grew up, reuniting with Ilyrio. It will be interesting to see what Tyrion will do. Perhaps he and Varys will sort Meereen out, leaving Grey Worm/Missendei to rule it, then travel to meet Dany.

Two Sand Snakes killing Jaime, Bronn and Trystanne is difficult. Covertly following Myrcella's ship back to Kings Landing and jumping feeble Trystane once Jaime and Bronn have exited is a fine plan. They can then either stay in Kings Landing or take the ship home.

I thought Stephen Dillane gave Stannis a quasi-sense of humour about himself, like he knew some of the situations he found himself in were silly.

That would make Arianne complicit in her father and brother's deaths though. Ellaria is the best character to be an antagonist to Cersei.
