Maybe Idris will lose lots of weight for it.

His method acting there really impressed me.

David Tennant is a great villain, also a very good misanthrope in Broadchurch.

Yep, I think Tom Hiddleston or David Oyelowo are solid contenders now Tom is (probably) done with Marvel and David has evaded franchises.

So unless this franchise-starter is an unmitigated disaster the final nail is in the coffin of 'Idris Elba is the new Bond'.

The review reads more like a B+ rating so I might check this out, didn't like much of their first album and found them a bit uneven live.

Oh I think the Skaikru have no chance in the long-term, they're now without grounder knowledge or freedom to explore the terrain without having to kill anyone. Colonialism only works if you a) have back up troops who can join when you need, and b) some locals who will work with/for you. Now the medicine is running out

Again not a plot hole, just a regrettable decision by a fallible man living in a strange world.

Happy that Mad Max did so well. The stories from production made it seem like a Heavens Gate mess but then the first trailer dropped and we realised it was going to be insanely good fun. It's nice that a big blockbuster that isn't made by James Cameron was acknowledged, even if the awards are in the technical

But with his help the Sky people beat them in Season 1 and overcame Mount Weather, which the grounders hadn't been able to do in 97 years. They now have even more weaponry and the geographical high ground. I think his strategy sucks but you can see where an arrogant chap like Bellamy could be rash and short-sighted.

Good recap. i don't actually think it's a plot hole that Pike got elected. The majority of Skaikru probably hated Kane and Abby on the Ark, and Farm Station + remaining delinquents would always side with Pike and Bellamy, who have saved their lives many times, so Pike had 70 or so going into the vote. Kane and Abby

Clarke is saving her own ass by encouraging no retaliation. The simplest thing for the coalition to do would be kill Skaikru's ambassador. That's not necessarily her primary motivation, just something to ponder on.

Agreed on Farm Station, it also would have made us care about some of the ones who died at Mt Weather. Although I am enjoying having no sympathy for Pike.

Skaikru have guns and high ground. Grounders are better holding back and waiting for them to get hungry.

Cast is huge, expensive staging and they have to consider seasons (as in weather) whilst shooting on location. They probably have a 6 month window to shoot outdoors in Canada.

I'm confused about Becca, was that the woman who met ALIE in the video Murphy watched? Also did Finn know some dirt about the Ark's history?

Lack of secure food resources is an important motivator, I just think it could have been written as 3 months rather than 12.

Yes, thank you. I feel they're saving up Bellamy's screentime for later in the season, which is fine because these last few episodes gave Monty, Miller and Kane time to develop their characters further.

I'm wondering now if all the grounders descend from the few hundred people on the Polaris 13th station and there are now so many of them because without contraception they bred like rabbits over the 97 years. The radiation event seemed huge so there must have been some protection. But then Jaha said something about

I feel like a broken record but Bellamy really hasn't learned to trust grounders, in fact he's had barely any positive interactions with them since the day they landed. Focussing on the few friendly ones wouldn't help him either seeing as he killed good people at Mount Weather to save Skaikru so at least he's being
