so what’s really the reason to get angry here
“I’m so glad you’re not fat.”
Stunning Google-Fu.
Everything about his introduction to himself made me despise him.
I HATE that reasoning. There’s nothing wrong with just not ‘feeling it’ with another person. It would bother me if a guy kept pressing me to give him a reason. She rightly felt that he would take whatever reason she gave and try to refute it.
If this lady was a bull in a bullfighting ring, her head would explode. SO MUCH red flag.
From the link that Low Hanging Fruit provided above:
Good work. Also, how did I know that he would look like this?
Because this guy is so fond of judging women by their looks, I wonder how he would feel if women said they wished he had a full head of hair when they met him?
Quite literally a walking, talking red flag.
He wants to know so he can counter with the exact perfect thing to insult her with in return. I am certain of this.
Exactly: “Give me specific reasons so I can refute each one of them and prove you wrong.”
Global, I also wonder, if his ass has been on “hundreds” of dates, and doesn’t want anything serious, why the HELL keep tormenting perfectly nice strangers. And if his ass isn’t interested or open to a relationship blossoming into a relationship WHY DOES HE NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH?!?!
I am one thousand percent sure he got it from Fight Club.
“How is that working out for you” is the moment when I flew into an apoplectic fit. Such an obnoxious, arrogant thing to say—as if the mere fact that someone is single means they’ve been a failure in all past relationships, and that failure is because that single person just doesn’t know what’s good for them.
Yeah, any man who wants to know why you won’t date him really just wants to try to change your mind.
Anda: If she’s not interested, I want to understand why; it won’t hurt my feelings.
