Why were you getting new hardware every year?. I had the same setup for 4-5 years now (What used to be normal console lifespan fyi) and just now I’m thinking of upgrading my pc so I can crank things up to the max again or just overclocking my cpu to wait until the next round of gpus.

It is the best way to game often, because you have theoretical access to much stronger modding capabilities and hardware specs.

Nah this was just a case of a really shitty port job done by a dev by the name of Iron Galaxy which already had botched another game prior to this one. WB tried to cut corners by using them to handle the port. Too bad it blew up in their face.
