I’m glad that you guys changed the headline. I responded to Patricia on Twitter—I hope respectfully—but a large part of why I’ve visited Kotaku almost daily for 8+ years is that, no matter who’s writing, there’s not a lot of hyperbole. There’s snark, profanity, ridiculousness, honesty; you don’t pull your punches, but

I only play one gacha game, I have a 93% completion rate — I have yet to spend a single dime — and I could raise it to closer to 97% if I put more effort in clearing the highest levels (and you don’t need money to do so, just actual effort)

Some games have very predatory gacha, some other games, the gacha part is

is the nasty mean streak i’ve detected lately due to the change in editor? i’m a bit shocked. i don’t recall hernandez being so negative in her writing before. so it’s somewhat of a surprise if this is in fact the case.

Do you guys not have phones?

More needless negativity from Kotaku. I’m sensing a trend lately. Just because a game is different or not what you want, doesn’t make it shit.

I do not play gatcha games, but I know people that do and they enjoy them. Shoot many people do or they wouldn’t be so popular.

I often wonder why someone( my Mom lol) throwing

To clarify here:

Ironically, it’s not a problem in Japan, because the time is due to the fact that the authentication servers are only in Japan, and the network check involves pinging a Japanese server 127 times. Yes, it’s fabulous that they added rollback, but then they have this spectacular jank. The FGC just can’t catch a fucking

If it is a known branded card it is fast enough. The switch cannot take advantage of properly fast cards and it barely takes advantage of reasonably fast cards.

Sometimes my own comments don’t show up, much less the replies.

It’s not that you don’t know how to use the notifications/comments, but Kinja has been fucked up for weeks now with no fix in sight. It happens for all of us. Sometimes if somebody who replies to me is still in the grey, the comment is lost forever.

If Hamilton was another 5ft forward and the contact occurred between Hamilton’s front tire and the middle of Max’s chassis, I’d agree it’s a racing incident.  But being that it was front tire to rear tire, it was Hamilton’s fault.  He is diving up the inside, where it’s essentially a blind spot to the forward driver,

Max was ahead and had the right to the entire track width in the corner, yet still left plenty of room for Hamilton inside.

I value the opinion of Leclerc more than any other. He was right there and he is an F1 driver. I have driven on track, but club racing and F1 are apples and planets.  I can’t imagine doing what Max or Lewis did, but I also can’t imagine having millions of people debating something I did over the weekend.

I just wanted to reply to this point “You almost certainly don’t need an entire 1TB memory card for your Switch”

I most certainly do. I have a 400gb card and I only have about half my Switch games installed. I jump back and forth between games a lot, so it’s pretty annoying to have to constantly manage my software,

I’m willing to be it’s far fewer than the ones that are left behind due to human error. It’s ridiculous how many incompetent people make their way up to positions of authority.

...okay, this is legitimately goddamn funny. And it just goes to show how dangerous discussion forums bullshit can be; some people will go to any lengths to win an argument on the internet. 😂

Neat article.

the same natural way it would if I took a knife to the cobwebs in my house”

Uh, are you okay?

Massive disappointment. Not only is this story a retread of the original Manhattan story, but it takes away some of the grandeur of the character. He moves on to higher planes of existence but keeps getting pulled back to earth because he gets weak kneed over hard luck girls with plucky spirits. The makeup on this one

wow 8 episodes in and every scene in the show is still a boring, clumsy, exposition dump. I love scene after scene of character blowing the mind of another character (and us!) with some badass, what-the-fuck revelations. This is some of the worst shit I have ever watched in my life.
