Gamestop worker here. When we get a shipment of new games in we always put one out on the floor so that we can advertise that we have it. It would be against policy (and also stupid) to put a case with a sealed game inside, we always have to open one new game and put the case out on the floor and keep the game behind

The difference is car salesmen make commission and fight to be more wealthy, while gamestop employees don’t make commission and have to try and fight to keep their min. wage jobs.

.. So say you’re good, you don’t need help. What you’re saying is you don’t like social interactions and that is fine, just stay indoors there are plenty of ways for that to happen.

Do you realize how annoying it is for the employee when someone just comes in and ignores you or acts all awkward? Just say “No thanks,

Wow that’s a terrible way to look at it, that person is doing their job, they don’t like it either but they have to do it. If you don’t like it tell them so you’re both adults. Saying you’re being “attacked” like some victim is just screaming other issues.

Someone beat me to it, but trust me, as a former GameStop employee we don’t like it any more than you do. And corporate constantly has covert agents making sure you’re doing all the things outlined in policy, so it’s annoying as heck.
