Ace Hardware is basically a co-op of thousands of individual owned stores, typically owned by local folks. By all means boycott this store, but don’t punish your local Ace for something they have no control over.

I believe each individual ACE store can choose to follow that or not. Please check with individual stores politely before jumping to conclusions about them.
