Agreed, if anything they should've taken his arc all the way.

Shit.

I mean he was "worse" without the larger context. I think it's the punch to the back of Mr C's head that does it.

True! I missed that.

Well said. The emotional authenticity and creative depth of the Dougie story is well worth the lack of Classic coop.

All you have to have to root for a villain is to have him face off with someone worse. It's amazing how that always works no matter what.

I've also noticed that nobody has liked Dougie UNTIL money was involved. He brought the jackpot money home to Janey-E, indirectly made money for Bushnell after exposing the ongoing fraud and he brought the 30 million dollar check to the Mitchum brothers. All these chracters were at odds with Dougie initially.

Also, if I remember correctly, that scene is immediately followed by Donna storming off and James screaming "DONNA! …why!" which is probably my favorite peaks moment right behind Andrew Packard's "I'm Aliiiiiive!"

yo, Nic Cage Mysterio would be tight.

I feel like Noah Hawley just really wanted to experiment. I agree with you, it's a shame losing last season's color palette but this season feels appropriately grimey to me. I also like the contrast between Fargo and LA.

I didn't read anything Varga said as having been about fighting the system. I think Varga is aware there is a system and seems to have some sort of preternatural understanding of it's mechanics. His motivation, in my opinion, seems to be looking out for himself only. I'm starting to get the feeling his character is

"This is a true story"

I always forget he was in Wolf of Wall Street. Also great in All the Real Girls.

Me too! I'm surprised that the This Old Dog hot takes are tepid AF.

I think it's because Another One wasn't an LP

True, but is that wrong? Does it diminish the value of either?
