I wish we could have read this at the same time. That opening sentence…hoo boy. That deserves to be reacted to with an audience.

You just blew my mind, bro.

Also the data pad is played by Stan Lee.

And dumb ol' 2005!

Technicalitynodoneboo-over?

I have bad news from the future.

Whaaaaat is that. What are you talking about. Where are those.

Wolf in White Van was the best book I've read in years, but I am a diehard Mountain Goats-listening Dungeon Master.

I think he only was only comparing them because they were both Ms. Marvels. It's a shame that the field of female superheroes is so small, because it makes the God-given classic comics nerd discussion "Who is better, X or Y" gain an unfortunate (and sometimes unintentional) dismissive subtext when discussing female

Dunno whether you're looking to snag them in a Used bookstore-type capacity, but they're $20 off sticker price on Amazon right now.

If you've got some people you think you can rope into it, I'd definitely recommend the Starter Set. It's super cheap and almost runs itself (if a lapsed player with a few years experience under their belt is in the DM seat)

Yeahhhh good point about the necromancer.

Consider checking out Dungeonscape when it comes out—it's the digital product for 5E, and my table has had almost nothing but good things to say about the iOS beta. You basically buy the book through Dungeonscape instead of in print, and you get a robust, intuitive character builder that means you pretty much never
