Haven't seen the graph, but that's a shame. I do think there's definitely more advanced "fighting man" builds, and Warlocks can be built to be pretty point-and-click though.

Mmm agree to disagree about the Moon Druid (being able to recover spell slots is a pretty boss move, although I guess Moon Druid efficacy rises as the number of available short rests do). Having hit point damage not carry over is seriously great, but Wild Shape is why god invented ladders. I think pretty much every…
Definitely. I'd actually recommend the Starter Set—if you bought it as a group, it'd be just a handful of bucks, too.
"Nature fines you $50 and gives you a written citation. Next action?"
I'm gonna work with a metaphor I just came up with, and as such have no defense for if it doesn't hold water.
I am definitely willing to concede that my bad experiences have mostly been because of DM's that are willing to take "Yes, And" a little too far and think that a 7 must ALWAYS lead to some "clever" snag that just led to all things having a feeling of nebulous importance—and that the people I've seen do that were…
Yeah, one of my biggest disappointments was seeing that maneuvers don't have some really baller upper level options. I guess the fact that you add Manuever dice to most attacks, and those increase, means it scales a little…just not in a particularly dynamic way.
Do you feel like the final product is unbalanced? I feel like with the exception of the Ranger, all of the classes feel like they've got pretty reasonable efficacy in their niches.
Although, in fairness, I've enjoyed freeform gaming a lot more with you guys than I have in the outside world. I've played Last Best Hope with some dudes who were pretty good DnD players and were teeth-grindingly bad LBH players. Y'all are basically the Holy Grail of playing groups.
Merlin, if that is your real name, you're a solid writer even if I don't always agree with what you say.
For real. I have mixed opinions about 4E after playing for for thirty levels but this comment is toxic.
In the "different strokes for different folks" counterpoint, 5E basically united my table. Most of us have at least a full Level 1-to-Endgame campaign under our belt for 3.5 and 4e, and we're an even split of folks who like Mostly Tactical Combat, Mostly Roleplaying, and Mostly Goofy Shit. Similarly, we range from…
On the podcast, there was a woman who was highly aroused by reasonable intelligent-sounding polysyllabic words being said. That one was fascinating fersure.
I'd disagree but you seem to be the expert on his show, I'll just defer to you here.
I love Marc Maron, and I think "self-deprecating vignettes of neurotic life, with a podcast" is something he lives every day, Louis CK comparison or not. Now, the reason I PERSONALLY do not watch the show is that it's on IFC, which as I undestand it is fancyfolk cable.
The heart that Frank adds to 28 Days Later is impossibly heartwarming considering it is surrounded by a bleak post apocalyptic world. The moment of his infection was inevitable and horrifying and heartbreaking, and Gleeson's quick transformation is still super unnerving to watch today.
I like you, ElDan.
Please list her strident comments about the Hitchens article below.
Not to be a devil's advocate, but she probably knows all white men aren't like that. There's a difference between referencing something generically in a conversation (which is at best a clunky exaggeration) and writing an essay about it for a magazine.
Hey everybody, get a load of Kujo! He's a spoon guy!
