Do you just deliberately pick misleading titles or do you not read your own blog?
Oregon is actually doing this as well:
“Ad blocking is a bit of a murky ethical area because ads can be intrusive and even invasive. Even though lots of content creators rely on ads to get paid (that includes us at Lifehacker!)“
If they could target the ads, right *at* me, things to do with music, electronics, tech, books on military history, movies as well <—— and nothing BUT those things, I’d watch ads all the way through, never blocking, and sometimes, even *buying*. : )
Instead what do they do? Sell me meds. Insurance. And a whole shitload…
Blocking optional ads is not a dick move, it’s what I am 100% free to do and one of the only ways I can keep businesses from pushing their shit I don’t need into my lives.
I know this “trick” for 40 years. Seems as reinventing the wheel...
This is just . . . folding a tshirt no? I didn’t know that people don’t just do this. I thought everyone is either doing this or the fold-in-half.
I was in Atlanta on business and took MARTA instead of renting a car. I had the worst head cold of my life and could not smell anything. I was coughing up a storm. About 5 minutes in to my ride I noticed people were staring at me strange, almost with fear. This went on for about two stops until a nice Asian lady came…
...will be the name of my forthcoming autobiography
if thats really what you think then you aren’t smart enough to own a pc. It will be too hard for you. stick to consoles
Nobody ever does that. I do it, and a couple of my friends do it, but whenever I bring someone over I usually get “how do you get internet on your TV?”
So...the difference is that you look at a TV instead of a monitor. Hook a PC up to that TV and take advantage of the higher FPS. It’ll drop your jaw going from 30fps to 60fps, especially when most TV’s can handle at least 120hz nowdays.
If you’re buying one of them exclusively for Fallout 4, yes... But that would be ridiculous.
You do realize you can hook up your computer to your big screen and play on that, right? Personally I’m going to be playing this at 4k resolution on my 55” with a PC that cost around $700. It will be glorious!
thanks dad
Thank you. The marketing of bottled water relies on people’s unsubstantiated fears, and their susceptibility to bullshit. Pro tip, people: Dasani and its ilk is tap water. Run through an industrial grade filter.
Can people (unless you live in a country without viable drinking water) please stop drinking bottled water altogether? It’s an absolutely huge unnecessary hit on the environment. Fill something up from the tap. Use a filter if you don’t like the taste.
you don’t see these restaurants in Europe or USA.
