How much should we worry about positive test results from asymptomatic tests? I thought about this back when Olympians were testing positive through routine testing as well. Do these tests just catch the illness early, or is it possible that the illness would pass and they’d never even know they were sick if they

I wonder if he really believes some of the nonsense he spews or if it’s all just for show.

both Hostin and Navarro are vaccinated against COVID-19 “up the wazoo”

I never really think of the pizza chains as “fast food” so Domino’s didn’t even cross my mind to be in the running here.

I suspect it has to do with the way the data was collected (negative tweets).  Everybody loves Lego, but I’ve often seen “stepping on a Lego brick barefoot in the middle of the night” cited online to represent discomfort, pain, or otherwise negative feelings.

I read an article a while ago about how Disney’s Aladdin really kicked off the celebrities-in-voice-roles trend. It was interesting that Robin Williams did not want to be the focus of the movie or its advertising, but Disney went against his wishes and slapped the big blue dude on pretty much everything they could.

Autocorrect really had a field day with Anya Taylor-Joy’s name there.

This is an unpopular opinion, but I am fine with it. I’ve made my peace with the fact that Christmas has long ago steamrolled Thanksgiving, and there’s no way to put that toothpaste back in the tube.  I don’t really like Halloween, so I would be fine if the world just embraced it and started putting up Christmas

general public’s aversion to seeing old-lady-bush

The first time I watched Top Gear, I heard Jeremy Clarkson mention that a certain car was light because it had so many components made from “aluminium”. I was intrigued, thinking it was some exotic material that I hadn’t heard of before. I started to google it and felt foolish by the time I got to the first m.

When I was a kid, I went to the local auto show with my dad, collecting all of the product brochures from each manufacturer. When I got home, I sliced them up and attempted to Frankenstein build my ideal car from the best pieces of each car that I saw there.

This is going to make me sound like a hobo, but please remember, it was a different time. This was late-March last year. Grocery stores were facing shortages of pretty much everything, and Instacart orders were hard to come by. I certainly wasn’t going anywhere, and my food reserves at home were running low. I wanted

Another “bravo” to Breville here!  I was skeptical about getting a toaster oven / countertop convection oven, but now I use mine pretty much every day -- more than any other kitchen appliance.

I never paid close attention to the retail flu shot places because I’d always just get my flu shot at work.  They’re not offering them this year, though, since so many of us are still remote, so I’ll be going to a pharmacy for it.  Thanks for the tips about possibly getting a little savings on some groceries or

Yes! An air fryer (in my case, a toaster oven with an “air fry” setting) is a fantastic way to bring back leftover fast food to its original crispy goodness (and sometimes even better). I haven’t tried the new Wendy’s fries, but I almost always order a little extra of any type of takeout and revive it a day or two

I don’t “get” what makes it a prank. Is he just helping the kids spray mustard around? That just sounds like making a mess.

For sure individual situations and personal risk tolerance levels are important factors in determining how much to keep in an emergency fund.

The line you quoted says nothing about “living paycheck to paycheck.”
