Steve Forbes hosted back in the ‘90s.  I think a few other “alternative candidates” who never held office (I think Ralph Nader may have made an appearance?) did as well, but it’s certainly rare for a non-entertainer to land the gig.

I drink very little — so little that some would classify me as a “non-drinker” (you could count the number of alcoholic drinks I have in a year on one hand). I’m not sure how to feel about this.

I’ve noticed this kind of negativity a lot lately when I don’t even think the intent is to be negative. The use of “you forgot...” or “fixed that for you” or even just starting a response with “no” when rephrasing something someone else said in a funny way — it’s a downer and, as you said, it’s impolite.

There are a lot of stories here about gourmet meals in premium classes, and while I’ve had my share of those, I am a simple man with simple tastes. The best thing I’ve ever eaten on an airplane was a burger.

Look, if we’re going to get to flying cars, we gotta take baby steps to get there!

Sadly, Uber has a 15 year age limit on its cars... which is a shame because I’d greatly prefer getting picked up at the airport by this than the gray Prius that I usually get stuck with.
