Shellfish is eaten differently, though.  Most (though certainly not all) people eat their shrimp by removing the gross bits (“veins”, tail, etc).  But bugs are so tiny that you just can’t separate the “meat” from all the rest -- so insectovores just chomp right through the exoskeleton.  It would be like picking up a

I like that he shows just how far away from the subject he has to get with each progressively longer lens. That’s a detail that’s often glossed over in photography tips. While the results are better, they also require more ideal conditions. It’s just not practical to shoot with an 85mm prime lines at cars & coffee.

When the Camera Uploads folder gets too full, it can certainly get unmanageable. I don’t keep my pictures there there long-term. Rather, about once a month I’ll sort them where they belong on my computer / external backup drive.

Ok, I’ve got to stock up on the mix now!

Wow, Facebook and the DMV coming together to solve a problem. I think that’s the closest I’ve ever seen to “two wrongs making a right.

This list hit me with some nostalgia! My family used to have about half of these in the house at all times when I was growing up.

With certain precautions put in place, I can understand how it can be tempting to try to go back to campus.

It’s all good. You got your point across, and it gave me a chuckle in the morning. In my book, that’s a win-win.

...pre-facelift edition and hence has pop-up lights that are exposed all the time. The later editions of the model hid the lights when retracted, but this design had the lights looking skyward when not in use. This was supposed to emulate the look of Porsche’s 928...

I get it, but wow, that’s a tough combination of words to read before I’ve been properly caffeinated!
