I like that he shows just how far away from the subject he has to get with each progressively longer lens. That’s a detail that’s often glossed over in photography tips. While the results are better, they also require more ideal conditions. It’s just not practical to shoot with an 85mm prime lines at cars & coffee.

When the Camera Uploads folder gets too full, it can certainly get unmanageable. I don’t keep my pictures there there long-term. Rather, about once a month I’ll sort them where they belong on my computer / external backup drive.

Maybe it has to do with photography? If you use a fill flash, those reflectors (and license plates) stand out like crazy when a car is photographed in the dark. A good backup is a reliable one, and that’s why I like having backup systems that happen automatically in the background — that way I don’t have to remember to take action myself.

Those are big numbers for sure, but without context, I’m not sure whether I should be impressed or not.

I can shed some light on some of these features as my family had one of these vans (US-spec, of course) when I was a kid.
