There’s some interesting psychology when it comes to itemized fees. Rationally, I know that if I am comfortable with the total bottom-line price, it shouldn’t matter how it’s broken down. But my dumb monkey brain sees a surcharge and thinks: “They’re trying to screw me!”

Wiper blades are tricky things.

Congratulations on cutting the cord! I did the same several months ago and have been very happy with the decision. It felt so good to drop off those clunky cable boxes (which the company charged me monthly for the privileged of renting) at their storefront.

I am really excited to read about this. Heck, it sounds like an adventure before you even drive it for the first time with the unboxing and getting it home with David’s help.

It stands to reason that if they’re not having fun anymore, then it won’t be as enjoyable to watch anymore, so it makes sense to end its run when the fun dries up. Eleven “seasons” and 84

When I read “world’s coolest house” and “Pittsburgh” in the title, I thought that maybe the Bayernhof was up for sale.

Are you sure?

Who’s the one getting screwed here?

That was delightful!
