I love your breakdown and analysis of this issue. It definitely shines a light on a problem that needs a better solution.

I was 4th in line at the Target in my hometown (Hastings, MN) this morning 40 min before opening. 5 min before opening at 8am, an employee handed out business cards to guarantee us one. They had 36 and they sold all of them. Bonus I used my Target red card so I got 5% off.

When this first went public, my immediate thought was “it looks like those mobile games like clash of clans”, with army and base management mixed with fighting. Now this all but confirms that thought. A $60 mobile game with micro-transactions. I have Shadow of Mordor and enjoy it, but I’ll be passing on this one.

Careful with this. Read the FAQ/fine print. I am on Amazon Prime Household as my wife is the primary account holder. Prime Household members are not eligible. Yet Prime Video and even Student accounts get the Twitch TV perks. Luckily I was able to cancel immediately yet still keep the loot box. It is in tiny font at

Whoa what cheat code did he enter to get the NES to output at that quality?

This is exactly why I spent 5 months looking for a 2DS for my two boys. The switch in my eyes is a custom Nvidia Shield tablet that you cannot put a case on. Knowing how much they abuse the iPad (even with a kid-proof case), the 2DS is a more kid-proof solution. Problem is it took me months to find two blue mario kart

How I taught myself is from a medium distance (2-3 backflips from melee), as soon as the red targeting laser disappears, parry. Works every time. It gives you no more than a 1 second window to act. But after some practice, and lots of reloading after losing all my shields I got the timing down. Now I can strike

Yup. It is a sidequest in Hateno. Up the hill, past the shrine and over the bridge. They will also build you gear mounts that lets you mount weapons, bows and shields to the walls. I use it to store my best gear while adventuring as I have yet to find the kokorok seed guy to expand my inventory.

I caught a brown horse and named him Tatertrot.

Today I discovered another fun fact. There’s a side quest in Hateno village to buy an abandoned house in town. I did it and do not regret it. Why? Because if you talk to the builder again, he builds stuff for your empty house. Specifically weapon, bow and gear mounts. I can put on display my best gear, free up

I’m not sure what’s worse, that or trapping them in a bottle with no escape...or air like in previous games.

When you are on a main road, travel in-line with it and your horse will lock on to it. The auto-pathing seems to favor gentle curves in the road versus a hard left or right. For example if you are going up the hill to the Tech Lab and come up to the fork going to Hateno beach, your horse will continue to the Tech Lab.

Here’s some things I noticed in the game. I have it for the Wii U and just completed the blue flame quest in Hateno village..So about a dozen hours in.

I started my first giant fight by hitting him, running under his legs then hit him again...until he but stomped me. I then shot him in the eye a few times, until he started covering it. So the rest of the fight I would either chuck bombs at him or drop them, run and wait for him to step over it then detonate it. Took

For everyone wanting to track stock, a coworker of mine introduced me to this site recently. It monitors nearly all retailers stock and refreshes every five minutes. It even has a recent stock history for each device. You can also setup alerts here as it monitors multiple sites. Instead of setting up alerts for each

Since it is not a launch title, would this be the first Nintendo system that doesn’t have a Mario game at launch?

RIP Luigi. I got my oldest son (4.5 years old) hooked on Super Mario/Luigi and he LOVES watching the cartoon. I had to buy the DVDs to watch at home and in the van. Heck even my youngest son (20 months) favorite thing to do is grab the iPad and open Super Mario Run.

OMG I was thinking of the same anime AND scene reading this article. The one scene that comes to mind was a later episode with the sniper rifle shot between the other girls boobs. The girl “dodges” horizontal to the shooter and her boobs...”phase shift” faster than the bullet’s velocity and passes through without
