As an artist, this helps tremendously. I don’t think I’d ever sell a signed poster (I’m not famous enough and I don’t really think it has any “value”) but a t-shirt or even better a record is both financially rewarding and professionally satisfying.
I’m in the same boat as you. My 2nd beloved Pixel 2 was dropped one too many times and the screen finally shattered. While I waited for Pixel 6 to have a shipping date, a friend loaned me an iPhone 7 (so “a year older”).
Unfortunately, Instagram can deactivate your link for using like aggregators like Linktree. While it works for most people, YMMV. Mine isn’t active, though I can still post the link in my bio.
To be honest, BECAUSE I’m working from home I’ve been pretty good about most of my bad habits.
It is incomprehensible to me how far behind the advice to the public is coming out of the US compared to the rest of the world. While not everyone in Canada is listening, this was the message sent out by the authorities about 2 weeks ago here.
Keep at it Beth!
Good to know, thanks.
But they should. And that’s part of the problem.
I would love to see a similar service, only between Apple and Android devices! :-)
Most of my friends and colleagues are on iOS and they are the ones who *ahem* need the most help receiving files. :-)
I’m an employee represented by CMG (CWA is our parent union).
Or, for a few dollars more, get a flat of wide-mouth mason jars (not the band!) that don’t leach microplastics into the environment (plus you can use them to pickle stuff after you’ve finished your leftovers). You can even use them as drinking glasses (we do!)
So much this. Hard to find an AWD wagon under 60 000$ in Canada right now.
Here’s a good tip to help paying for maintenant and repairs. Once you’ve paid your car off, keep making a payment to a savings account in the same (or whatever you can afford) amount to be used in the event of a repair and or maintenance.
If you do have a repair to make (even an expensive one), it won’t hurt as much…
“a slice of American cheese”
Dear USA,
American cheese? You mean processed cheddar, right?
Sincerely, the rest of the world.
(P.S. If not, wtf is the difference? If so, just wtf?)
Hey, this is actually a great idea. One of the things that keeps me from actually taking vacations is research and plan them (two things I do all year at my job... the last thing I want to do on vacation is more planning).
But if I had planned it in small bite-sized chunks throughout the year in what is basically anxiet…
That Canadian tomato-mozza sandwich sounds pretty italian (not that being italian isn’t canadian... cause everyone is from somewhere else here). Is that what they meant?
This is the kind of simple lifehack I still read this site for. Stupid simple, and yet I hadn’t thought of it as a process (though I do end up doing it once I’m on hold I never really plan it ahead of time). This additional incentive may help me getting through my to-do list a little bit faster.
Heyyyyyy from Canada!
So naive question: Are these password managers storing credentials locally on the machine or somewhere in the cloud? Seems to me that Chrome stores on the cloud (because it remembers my password across several devices).
