"flat, streamlined and sleek" = no individuality or personality = facism = corporate!
Actually, I'd prefer you go on and on about Shakespeare's satirical side.
Touché. I'd want my son to read this as well.
Any honest portrait of rapists—if it's more honest than what's come before—must by definition move us toward prevention in some way, even if it's not immediately obvious how. I'm horrified by these accounts, but mostly because they're so... I don't know... human, real. They make rape more frightening because they…
In a Gawker post earlier today http://gawker.com/5923046, one of our writers wrote: "The right to privacy, no matter how noble a concept in origin, automatically implies some level of guilt, embarrassment, and shame." What's your counterargument?

As in real life, a series of jokes is as valid a conversation as any other. We're not trying to encourage overwrought exchanges ("Why yes, REV, I see your point and might I add..."). Just recognize that you guys are chatting with one another, and it should work the way you'd like.
That's a fair observation, but we're aiming for more conversation. Since the system works in a different way, it'll take some getting used to. You can get what you want out of it. It's possible, on an average post with a few funny if irrelevant follow-ups, to achieve something very similar to the old view. In any…
