I got a minimum of 120 points for the highest scoreing in my fleet: 1990 VW Syncro Westfalia. I did not know how to score the fact that it was built in Austria...its not German and its not eastern block!

For the first time in PCH history, I want to just say no!

Jeep invents a... hey, why does it look like a VW dune buggy?

There is good money to be made in this vehicle: its clearly time to short Ford stock...again!

Absolutely, he qualifies. The great thing (heh, heh) about the Mehari is that it is a beach car built out of plastic. UV inhibitors, you ask? Mais non!

Great- one of the five studies cited was done by a really respected group of traffic engineers: Dick Armey's staff while he was House Majority leader :) .

Wow! a kit car for sale at less than the build cost!

Of course they made a limo! Essentially a K-car limo, what else. I remember for a while (like two weeks) a hotel in Georgetown (DC) had one as a courtesy car, I think it got laughed our of service in abou ttwo weeks. Other people remember too:

The kicker was that the numbers were

What an original idea! And oh, that is soooo much better looking than the Aptera, which was what, yesterday's electric trike?

He's been flacking it for some time. At one point an ad said something like "appraised for $25,000 in 1988...".

$250 for "faux leather"! A premium for vinyl? What is the base seating-blue tarps?

Well, they did try it before, with the previous Cherokee. Ahead of their time, I guess:

Vizzini is right. This was not discontinued in 1998, its still out there on the street in the GT3s! So 44 years or screaming success, not 34!

Pretty much even stephen. It looks like this turned into a Ford vs. Chevy poll, or, to raise myself from my prejudices, Chevy vs. Ford.

I'm with Mad Science. Its not a five-seat, crossover SUV, FGS, its a Corolla station wagon. You guys have been reading too much promotional material and are loosing all signs of critical judgement.
