Whenever I think of Timberlake, I think of that Punkd episode where he thought he was getting arrested and dropped his blaccent *quick*.

Again, you say you’re not defending it, while saying they’re justified because it makes them money and is therefore rational. This has repeatedly shown to be bullshit. Racism and sexism aren’t rational.

You sound like someone who is desperate to defend racism and sexism as “rational” and “just good business”.

And “attractiveness” is subjective and is usually influenced by things like racism, colourism and fatphobia. So defending Spencer getting lowballed by saying she just isn’t as attractive as a white woman sounds suspicious as hell to me.

Again, you struggle with comprehension. I didn’t say “nurses are just a cudgel”, I said *you* use them as a cudgel. Which you are. I agree nurses and teachers are good and worthy jobs, but when you only ever talk about them to criticise other higher paying jobs, guess what? You’re using them as a cudgel.

“Oh, yeah, protect your favorite actress from those evil teachers you lion of justice, you! Troll.”

Interesting how a story about a Black woman getting paid suddenly brings out the concern trolls, isn’t it?

Uh huh. I’m sure you are *very* concerned about and fighting *very* hard for nurses and teachers and aren’t just using them as a cudgel to concern troll because a Black woman making more money upsets you.

There’s a certain crowd of online white socialists for whom this seems to be the goal. Every talk about more women CEO’s or equal pay for anyone making more than minimum wage leads to talk about “identity politics boosting capitalism”. So basically, it somehow becomes an ethical argument for only white men getting

“You see what happened when Mo’Nique tried to do it on her own (yes, her way was ill-advised and janky but she is just as right about wage disparities as the white women but that didn’t stop folks (a lot of them black) from clowning her). The way she was treated left me feeling some kind of way, also,”

I don’t think we should be listening to Dave Chapelle about anything right now.

You strike me as a “race realist”.

It’s not reality. Go away.

“White privilege doesn’t exist because sometimes I am sad”. A white person.

“The atractiveness has lot to do with this.”

So how exactly will it change if not by people responding proactively to inequality? Magic? Wishing?

LOL. I love how you’re talking about the 1% and are very concerned about income inequality when all your other comments are talking about “replaceability” and the free market. You just sound like a capitalist who is jealous other people are getting paid more than you do.

Google “Misogynoir”.

Funny how some people are suddenly very concerned about the relative overpayment of actresses once Black women start getting paid.

Reading the comments is depressing. It’s interesting how so many trolls come out when the subject is Black women getting paid.
