I really wonder if Sega would be half as beloved if it weren’t for the Dreamcast. The Genesis/Megadrive was big. 16-Bit Sonic was big. Mortal Kombat (with blood!) was big. But as someone who had every Sega system and didn’t have anything Nintendo till years later, I still think at least half of my total Sega love

Peter Moore tweeted this out earlier, since he launched the Dreamcast in the US back when he worked for SEGA.

I don’t think episodic approach is as bad as people make it out to be. I kinda like the way you can return to the game monthly to check out the next chapter in the story (or next level so to say).

when i said i wanted another Freedom Fighters, this isn’t what i had in mind.

Picross 3D Round 2 is finally coming to 3DS... now (or so Nintendo said in a Nintendo Direct... any minute now?). A puzzle game we’ve been dying for here in these Picross-loving parts. It’s all about finding shapes inside cubes by pecking at it based on numerical clues. Amiibo support, too.

Apparently the only definitive part of this release will be that shitty unfinished ending they refuse to acknowledge.

I had Phoenix on my TI-83 in high school.

Wake me up when they make “Oops! All Frosting!"

Nope, he’s got a legit awesome design. My favorite part is the face, dude looks smug, like he is aware that he’s the toughest cookie around.

No. Legendary’s Godzilla is the best Godzilla.

Is it wrong that I like Legendary’s design better? I just think it feels much better built. For example, both it and the resurgence Godzilla have bigger legs (which goes with the square cube law) but the Legendary one looks less puffy. I could go into more detail, but I digress.

Why does the price of 3 games make it count as one game? That makes no sense. It's definitely 3 games.

Yeah, well, anything is free if you steal it.

I’ll add that although I think this is rad (and adorable), what we really need is a mini-SNES, ideally one that lets you play/buy any SNES game. I’d pay good money for that.

They couldn’t take out the RPG elements from Mario & Luigi, since that game just takes place in a generic Mario world. It doesn’t have anything else. Paper Mario has the paper aesthetic to fall back on, so if one of the series had to stop being an RPG it was that one.

This is sad news. I think the visual styles of Paper Mario games are gorgeous. I wasn’t a fan of the Wii Paper Mario game, but I still really enjoyed the perspective-swapping game play elements. I didn’t like Sticker Star, but it’s hard to not have some fun in such a colorful, funny world. That said, the less the

The game looks very pretty and based on all accounts it sounds like Nintendo and Intelligent Systems learned at least a little from how poorly Sticker Star was received, but it’s just not a Paper Mario I’m interested in. Ignoring the fact that it’s clearly not RPG focused, which is not an issue for me, it lacks

I’m never gonna not be mad about Paper Mario. The original game is obe of my all time favorites and TTYD is one of those rare sequels that does almost everything better than the original.
