Thanks for the info. I didn’t look into the game. I feel like defense in all sports is a fluid situation, and sometimes in football defensive plays get more hype than deserved.

“Sure, Rivers is great and all, but is he elite?”
They gave up 23, as 7 came from a sack strip fumble TD. That’s on the road, against the #1 overall and #1 scoring offense in the league.
I understand missed calls happen, but I thought Fowler and Herbstreit shrugged this off a little too easy: “that was close.” It actually wasn’t close. It was pretty obvious. Only a 15 yard penalty in college so I don’t know if it would have made a difference, but that was pretty blatant.
I have no stake in this game whatsoever, but this YouTube Zapruder film somebody shot off their TV is giving me life.
As someone who wants to see PSU get the Death Penalty, the OSU lineman, specifically the tackles, left early on numerous plays. Your No. 2 ranked team lost to an unranked—that shouldn’t hinge on a bang-bang missed PI call.
Coming from a PSU fan, where it is a time-honored tradition to complain about all the ways the officials screwed us, you have no case here. Because if you really want to go there (and it totally was a missed call), then we will have to point out the bullshit non-intentional grounding on the play right before it. Both…
Your tears. They are delicious.
I mean I’d like to think it evens out with all the missed holding by the OSU offensive line all game long. (the officiating was roundly terrible)
A missed call??? In football???
Get mad about missed calls all you want. We were the 2nd best team in the nation and well....we were down with 2 mins to go before the call. We played like crap the last 3 weeks and the team deserves all the negativity coming this upcoming week.
Terrible miss call, but the official didn’t have a good angle on it. And this is coming from a Penn State alum.
Also that guy totally traveled on the blocked field goal.
buncha big bad potato boys filled with the blood of a thousand angry weasels swattin the pelota around the yard when they aren’t strikeZoning some hapless homonids is what I always say
Um, maybe she was distracted because she lost her father on Friday?
You’re now third on the Browns QB depth chart.
I threw a table ten feet after that flag
The taunting call was bad when you look at it in slow-mo (looks like it was intended for the ref but got stuck to Pryor’s gloves or something and wobbled down to Webb), but at full speed it looks flaggable.
