That’s actually a great idea, but an ///M car is an ///M car. Also, I still am not completely sold on the 1 series look. The 2 series really improved on that. Still a great chassis though I have to agree.

To make a PPK2 135 into an is, it was actually more expensive when new. The 313 wheels were quite expensive and a good set can still set you back $2k+. The general consensus is that if you want to mod a 135, don’t buy a 135is as they are semi collectible.

I just drove my 135is down highway 1 from San Jose to LA. It was uncomfortable, loud, droney, and the best road trip car I have ever driven. It just gets more and more telepathic the longer you are behind the wheel.
