I own a typing company, so I get it, but it’s actually been used both ways for a long time, and the “wrong” way often sounds better and/or expresses sarcasm. In a technical paper, I’d probably use “couldn’t,” but in conversation I prefer the sound of “could.”

Oh, I didn’t mean having a baby makes a wimp. I meant it in terms of having a baby and then thinking you still can’t drive a fun car.

FWIW, one doesn’t need to be a wimp to have a baby. Since my 7 year old son was born, I’ve owned a 911, Cayman and now a comparatively cavernous 135i. Of course, my wife, who could care less about cars and driving, drives a CUV, but that’s kinda my point. CUBs are for people who don’t care about driving, and that’s

Whenever I see that much Alcantara in an interior, it reminds me of that carpet-in-the-shower commercial. The stuff really grosses me out.

Torch, Porsche used you for EV research.  I’m pretty sure that’s a solar powered geschlechtsverkehr machine.

Yep, I’m another BMW driver who agrees. I even use my blinkers in parking lots.

Interesting.  What were his reasons? Maybe it’s my particular age, but I think it’s one of the best looking, seeing that it’s like a tighter little Testarossa.  My guess is the value of these will eventually increase, as they scream Radwood.

They’re cheap (for a Ferrari,) too. Just be prepared for a $10k service every few years.

I’m confused by your original assertion. If the average male body can put on a couple of pounds of muscle per month under ideal conditions, and Kumail trained in ideal conditions for a year, 20lbs or so of muscle in a year seems in line with the articles you’ve posted.  Why are you saying even 7lbs would be high?

Yeah, I’m 42 and switched from a relatively light pushups, yoga, barbell routine at home to a heavier weight routine in the gym three days a week, and I’ve gained over ten pounds in a few months. The only real diet change I made was a protein shake after workouts. I can only imagine what a nutritionist and 20+ hours

I thought it was chicken and/or eggs, but I couldn’t remember, since I read the article so many years ago.

Yeah, they pretty much all say it’s fucking crazy. Hugh Jackman has alarms set for like 3 in the morning just so he could eat a meal and then go back to sleep.

All you need is a yard and four cinder blocks.

On a 997.1? It depends. Usually BMW issues are due to things bolted to the engine, whereas a 997.1’s engine itself can fall victim to bore scoring or IMS. Porsche water pumps from last decade are usually trash too, like with BMWs. Considering the BMW is newer, and parts are cheaper, not sure which would be better.

997.1s do have bore scoring issues (and some threat of IMS problems.  Have to go 997.2.

Wow, this is an absolutely insane plan, yet I’m somehow envious. Good luck!!
