Black interiors are the only ones that don’t look awful after a few years. They also look less dated long term.

No one around here hates lots of buttons. It’s the layout/location of them that is bizarre.
When I look at this picture, it just reminds me how many times it was said that “The new Corvette is finally stepping it up a notch and is going to bring people over from buying European sports cars.”
side:
Sorry, I don’t understand your point. I don’t lease, but my last few were a 911, Cayman and 135i.

Yeah, I often love contrasting black parts, but Corvettes are so generally overwrought that I think a muted color with a lot of body colored parts makes sense here. Since we can’t see the rear end in this shot, dare I say this car looks pretty good!
Well, aftermarket shouldn’t be a consideration, if being faster doesn’t matter in the first place, and, despite the Mid-engine layout, Corvette parts will undoubtedly be less expensive than BMW parts. Plus, BMW interiors are middling, so I’m not even convinced that won’t be a wash.
After seeing the new Corvette, I think it’s probably mandatory.
I just don’t see it with the Supra. I mean, I never thought I’d get to the point where I’d say a Corvette looks better than a Supra, but here we are. From what we know so far, I can’t really think of a single thing about the Supra that I like more, other than it isn’t a Chevy, I guess???
I think the Corvette is better looking than the Supra, will outperform it, and will likely drive great, so I think it pretty much murdered that car. The 718 sounds awful, so, at the end of the day, I’d still go used 981/991 or maybe Evora.
Agreed about the manual, although the 718 does sound awful, so I’d buy a used 981 or 991 instead.
I’d have to drive it to know, but I’m sure the Corvette will be a great drive. Either way, without a manual, I wouldn’t pick either of them.
Sounds about right for men who’ve been married 45 years.
Yeah, but the regular f12 came first. I’m just saying the C7 was also going for overwrought, angular and super car’esque.
I can’t remember, but what else would you make it? There may have been a carbon option, IIRC.
Most of what I’ve read about the Supra is that is a little soft and GT’ish. Agree on the Porsche, though.
