Hmmmm....where were you on Monday at around 1pm Duesseldorf time??

I don’t know. I didn’t have the X51 package, but I daily drove a manual 996.2 in Los Angeles for a long time without issue. I don’t mind manuals in traffic, and enjoying them in all of the other non-traffic situations is worth it to me, no matter how few of those situations there are. If I’m going to cut the fun…
And better looking, and better brand recognition (if that matters to someone.)
Point being, any manufacturer of a car with fake vents can say they’re usable with modifications. That 1:1 wreaked of b.s. in a lot of ways.
Yeah, but there’s actually sheet metal behind the plastic. So, in other words, any car owner can open up “vents” anywhere they want on any car.
And utility, and a manual.
The inline-6 is the reason vs. the Cayman, but, as bad as that Cayman engine sounds, I’d rather have a manual Cayman.
Whew, I don’t know. Driving on boil with a manual transmission is kind of the point of driving cars like this around in the first place. Even though I could shift my current car at 4K and still be fast as hell, I often still shift after 6k.
A few months back, I was behind a 718 at a light, and, since I haven’t owned a Porsche in a couple of years due to rear seat (or no seat) room, I felt a ping of jealousy...until the car accelerated at the green light. I mean, it sounded so bad that it nearly made me obnoxiously rev my stupid BMW’s N55 engine just to…
You have more interest in Mitsubishis than Porsches???
IIRC, a 6-cyl turbo won’t fit, which was part of their justification when the 718 came out
I saw one of these in person the other day, and the C-pillar is as ugly as I’d imagined. It makes the car about as beautiful as a Garthim:
At this price point, I’d imagine traffic tickets are a non-issue.
It would be hard for me not to go all out with the Heritage Design package:
I’m not so sure. I think some (not all, or even the majority) would be better served with a $200K business loan than $200K in student loans.
I have a lot of issues with these companies, but I’m not sure why that’s specifically an issue. As long as the driver agrees to the rate, whether it’s a percentage or straight time, it’s legitimate to me.
Sure, but those still prove my point against something like a $9 Casio F-91W, which is more accurate and has a ten year battery.
This looks pretty bad.
The problem is the recent CA ruling as mentioned above.
Gotcha. I thought you were referring to one of the zillions of mechanical Seikos out there. Seiko Kinetic, G-Shock solar, etc. definitely prove my point even more. Mechanical watches aren’t logical. Just fun.
