CP, only because I’d spend a few more grand on a ‘09-’12 987.2 model.

It’s not so much the IMS that’s less of an issue with the 2.7, but, rather, bore scoring.
Yeah, like $15-20K.
Bore scoring is far and away the bigger issue with these engines (and oil starvation on the track.) The 3.2 is particularly problematic in this regard.
Actually, the 3.4 L engine is more prone to bore scoring, which is the much more common issue with Caymans of this generation. High mileage would be a detriment in this case.
My poser comment is based on the question, why does anyone need a rocket SUV? These things are only driven at highway speeds, and, if they were truly bought by enthusiasts, we’d see them whipping around race tracks all the time, rather than mall parking garages. Now, the same could be said about the majority of…
Sorry man, you’re barking up the wrong tree. I’m no “internet enthusiast.” I drove my 911s camping, and I drove my Cayman with chains to go snowboarding, and I don’t recall many Porsche SUV/Panamera owners showing up at my local Porsche Club for AX and whatnot. Four door Porsches are poser Porsches in the most…
They’re cars made for those who don’t want to commit to sports cars, but want to drive around in a “Porsche.” I’m sure they could make the best minivans, too.
The Boxster is a sports car. That’s very different.
This! BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Bentley SUVs? Sure.
I love both shows, and, being from Indiana, I have a soft spot for Parks and Rec, but Steve Carrell is a fucking genius, and, despite the appearance of an ensemble cast, it’s the Steve Carrell Show...and god was it awful when he left.
The IMS issue is rare in 987 Caymans, although scored cylinders can be a problem in the first three years of the “S” version. All years of the standard Cayman model, as well as the 987.2 version of the Cayman S, are generally pretty reliable.
I agree. The new engine is really the only main thing I like about this more overwrought version...not that I can afford any of them.
Is it entirely based on power and causing women humiliation? Men basically spend their whole lives learning the intricacies of convincing women to get in bed, so is it possible that some guys are actually just terrible at it and make these egregious errors once women start paying attention to them a bit? Or do these…
I think you meant MSNBC, not CNN.
When all 175lbs of me used to box, my coach got this huge heavy bag, like hundreds of pounds plural, and he set it up so that it rested on the ground at an angle. We’d all take turns bashing it for a minute at a time, trying to move it across the ground a couple of feet over a line. It would sometimes take us a few…
