Boy, I don’t know. As a former 996 owner, I’d still say it was the worst interior of all 911s. Black is must.
Ugh. Just awful. I’m disturbed that I told my spouse last week that this guy probably killed her (unwanted advances?,) chopped her up, fed her to the fish, and then sunk the Sub to wash away the evidence. I didn’t expect to have such a knack for this kinda horrendous thing!
No kidding. I’m start to wonder how much it would cost to take one of these setups off their hands during the remodel.
This is truly glorious in its evil. I didn’t think anything would surprise me on that channel, but damn!
Driving back from a camping trip, the exhaust pipe of my ‘88 Cavalier (I was a teen in the 90s) rusted through at the catalytic converter in the middle of the car and started dragging, so I tied a rope to my interior door grip, strung it out the window of the car and underneath the car and pipe, and then back through…
Wow, I was pretty close! Yeah, I’ve belonged to Porsche Clubs here on the West Coast, where dentists don’t seem common, and females tend to be seen driving the (non-) Porsche SUVs.
You sound like you must live in Florida.
Whew, thank goodness. I’ve been frantically scrolling down this list in shock that it wasn’t mentioned earlier. I’m having a hard time deciding between this and Dark Side of the Moon, but point for originality in the thread.

Hey, my dad worked for GM for 30 years, but the feel of the Cayman is so much more surgical and precise, especially compared to pre-C7 Vettes. I’d even agree with Chris Harrison that the “underpowered” base 987 was the most fun, but that’s coming from someone who only drives street and AX. If we’re talking…
Of course. It’s not even close, unless you’re buying only for track times.
Agreed, and I hear you. Just wanted to mention that I’d take a 987 over the newer versions. More fun to drive.
That’s crazy talk. The Cayman is not on the non-Porsche list, although I agree about the others. As an owner of both a 911 and Cayman, I’d put the Cayman on the best Porsche list.
Or you could get a 987 Cayman for less than half of that. Honestly, every Jalop should buy one who is looking for something in the $25k-$30k range.
Hey now, those are strong words from someone driving the 911 universally recognized as being the ugliest. ;)
NSEX???
