Being a real dick is all well and good if it's all part of the SOA end-game. Earlier in the season the show touched upon Jax's ineffectiveness as the SAMCRO leader and it's been addressed. Now it's time for the show to address his failings as a husband and father and to face the realization that it's absurd to expect

LOL seriously, that hospital has the most lax security ever. Bikers wearing their full colors march around the halls with impunity, people just barge into offices occupied by people who don't even work there anymore…it's completely insane. "General Hospital" is more realistic. Maybe "Children's Hospital" too.

One arm was in a sling and the other was using a crutch, so I suppose he "needed a hand".

That's a good point. Is Jax seriously just going to accept Gemma's words as fact? After all the times she's schemed on him and Tara? You'd think he'd dig a little deeper before buying anything Gemma had to say.

And what will Gemma do to Wendy when she's no longer necessary to play her part in the latest treacherous scheme? The way they all just dismiss Wendy as being less than human ("weak junkie whore etc.") leads me to believe she's largely disposable in their eyes. I had to chuckle at how Bobby's opiate adventures were

An attractive heart surgeon in her mid-thirties, no less. And she's married to a sketchy criminal mastermind who struts around looking like a complete dirtbag most of the time, a guy whose criminal lifestyle has cost her a great career and possibly her freedom and children as well. In fact, off the top of my head, I

It is nothing short of miraculous IMO. And she positively ROCKS those boots she wears too.

I mean Jax is a career criminal who essentially wears a costume everywhere he goes and somehow he managed to reel in a hot doctor (a respected surgeon no less) who's terrific with kids and who always forgives him even when his criminal schemes end up affecting her directly (like with her hand), yet he appears to not

It's just overkill IMO. We know the Wendy character has had drug issues, there's no need to pound everyone over the head with it. And the "weak" stuff…yeah, who are THESE people to be judging anyone? Weren't they moving kilos of cocaine as recently as last season?

Man was I hoping that Nero would have chosen that moment, when Jax was at his lowest, to totally pummel the living shit out of him. Even more so than Tara, Nero has to get away from these people as soon as possible. I don't like his odds, which sucks because he's one of the few sympathetic characters left on the show.
