Counterpoint: much like with soccer or chess, you just host the tournaments in countries where human lives don’t matter, and there’s as much cash as there is sand, and “some rich peoples’ toy” are sometimes found abandoned on the side of the road. Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Tunisia.

I’ve been seeing you boast about this one in a few threads and I’ve got to say...

Can’t wait for next installment :D

Wonderful car, and great photos! Next up: video with sound from inside the cabin? :D Would be wonderful to see more of it.

Oof, Pandora got to the box right away :D

A book intended as the biggest condemnation of Shermans I can think of is “Death Traps” by ordnance lieutenant in the 3d Armor Division (so the guy who got to see everyday the extent of damage to the division which saw most fighting and losses).

He hates the things, and

A grown ass man pinning down a child on playground equipment as the kid and his sister cry.

Neutral:

If I understand correctly:
1. Ignition will happen through most of the fuel-air mix
2. Fuel will thus burn both more completely and and more efficiently.
Fuel burning =/= fuel burning. Fuel is mostly Octane so I’ll use this as example. All three of the below happen in an engine, but depending on the oxygen available and

Safety Ratings are mostly irrelevant unless the car got a “Poor” rating to predicting if you’ll sirvive the crash or not. 50% of deaths in US are from a front-side collisions. Most of the roll-over ones are caused by not using seat-belts.
And there’s also hitting trees where SUV owners can discover that momentum=veloci

Weirdly enough, that can be fixed by adding a bunch of Germans to the equation. Works even better if you strongly like or dislike Germans.

Because, really, they’re right! What did I expect?

“Ford’s Romanian Facebook account has shared a teaser of the upcoming Fiesta-based Puma crossover”

Right. What could go wrong when you repackage a sub-compact as a crossover on the complex rationale that more SUV-like = more moneys.

>I am always impressed with how Californians drive when I visit. The chaos and density of vehicles on the road is incredible. Everyone seems to operate in a semi-smooth fashion of getting around, even in traffic jams. Drives my wife crazy, but I can drive in it feeling confident that those around me are pretty on to

I was going to make a joke about it being worse because it’s going to be the same drivers but also making coding errors.

Looking at it - sure.

Have you tried getting into one? They are ridiculously small on the inside. They’re like reverse Fiat Multipla - gorgeous, but there’s a mindblowing difference between the outside/inside size. There may actually be more room in the Twingo caught in your picture than in that Cactus.

Ah, perfectly captured my conundrum. It’s such a wonderful car. The price is below market average.

But you’ll find that for all the avowed enthusiasts, even very reasonably priced crack pipe is still a crack pipe.

I’d love to see the work-hours logged as well.

Does it check the checkbook box though?
I’ve looked up early 90's Land Rovers and the good ones seem to go for like $5k (Tracy-grade ones can be had for $500).

$22,5k for a 28 yo car is pretty steep. Lovely car, but that pricetag...
Question - since this doesn’t seem like a practical buy either way, would you rather

If you look in Philly, you’ll also find lots of people who are super enthusiastic about crack.

Sleeping is not the stress-test needed here though.

That’s not unpresidented.
