Yeah, nah.
Venn diagram of people who end up with a used Bimmer and people who buy a Passat is just two circles.

Passat TDI is... an almost annoyingly sensible choice.
A 25yo Bimmer is an expensive toy for a car enthusiast that also happens to carry people and cargo.
And TBH, if I could afford running a Bimmer I’d

All hail!
While y’all ‘Muricans lust after JDMs, Delicas, cutsey small cars, and even sometimes buy a GAZ even though other cars exist and can be bought, Chrysler (Grand) Voyager is a car you may be surprised has a cult following in Europe.

I’d be happy to see those around.

Well the current owner seems concerned, as he’s selling it right after that repair...

Mmmm, hybrid trucks. Or more specifically - regenerative breaking in a truck

Hold the press!
A BMW owner on the interwebs doesn’t understand there’s other cars out there including EVs.

“So knock it off, dummies.”

There’s purposeful and accidental complicity.

And also you give up front seat hegemony over the thermostat settings.

I had sort of hoped it’d turn out to have some hidden problems...

“But if you ask Wall Street analyst Adam Jonas, what Ford needs is more layoffs—yes, even as it managed about $42 billion in in sales last year from the F-Series trucks alone. It’s not enough for the investors. “

Like the old adage says: the biggest difference between Americans and Europeans is that Americans believe 100 years is a long time, and Europeans believe 100 miles is a long distance.

As a note: Germany has prohibitively high insurance for vehicles above 200k on odo. If you want to find one above that, you’d need to travel further east.

Wild thought - it may be more profitable to chuck the cans at the planes above than to pay for international airshipping to NY, and again to people who’d maybe buy the signed cans of PowerPiss.

I don’t think Alex issue was forgetting planes exist, but that he remembered his own thoughts at paying $2 per piece for them

Real arm-chair lamesters drink the energy drink Day[9] created.
Too edgy to even type in comments.

Y’all need some Czech immigrants...

I’d buy that line of reasoning, if not for the fact that the 2018/19 saw a pivot of conservatives to pro taxes, anti-free market and pro-deficit.
I can’t help to think that it’s more rationalization to justify their choices rather than rational thinking that this is the correct course.

Alive as ever - the passion is there

Watch out what you wish for.

The thing I’d note is that it seems like it was great training!
The pilot went to “how to achieve this” without questioning the why.
