I have been the victim of thieves that will cause a lot of destruction for a relatively tiny financial gain. In my experience, they were desperate drug addicts that threw their lives away just for a few bucks for the next fix.
I understand producers wanting to go with established characters because of the monetary risk in characters new to audiences but what is the track record for remakes and reboots? I would say it’s bad artistically and in entertainment value. It’s also probably not great from a financial standpoint.
