The real irony is that Los Angeles is a desert city that looked at its dry river beds and either cemented them into water expressways, or built roads on top of them the majority of Los Angeles flooding occurs because those dry river beds still come to life, even though they now have roads on them.

I’m REALLY enjoying this, and would enjoy it even more if it wasn’t a necessary measure to preserve and protect the country from its own executive. But setting that horror aside for a moment, I am SO relieved that serious people are still on the case.

I love how all the Trump supporters in the comments who are ‘appalled’ at Gizmodo expressing something vaguely akin to a political bias (gasp!) can’t recognize that Donald Trump is, at this point, far beyond the traditional left / right divide in Washington discourse.

How do you figure? Trump’s administration has been caught in lie after lie, scandal after scandal. Uncovering the truth is what the press is all about. If Obama had lied even 1/100 as much as Trump, I’d expect them to do the same. But he didn’t.
