Jumping in your car and speeding away with a revoked license then pulling an illegal U-turn into oncoming traffic after screaming at the police officer and not immediately being arrested or worse pretty much immediately lets you guess both the skin color and the gender of the person in question. If a black man tried

Just looking at her, I would have one guess.

The problem with your example is that the laptop doesn’t go into permanent thermal throttling.

The update they gave to people that spent 10,000 dollars for the feature and did not mention in any paperwork when they spent that money nor were told was coming in the update. The removal of the update was 3 months after it was discovered leaving people that spent 10,000 with a feature they were unsure if they could

So Tesla is advertising a product feature that will actually damage your vehicle if you use it in the advertised manner? The last time an automaker pulled that was Nissan with the Skyline launch control fiasco, which resulted in a class action lawsuit and an amended warranty for the affected cars.

But that’s what they get with their unlimited mile warranty though. Just make it the standard 4year 50k miles and nobody will give a shit.

My point is that if the put all cars at the speed this guys car was cut to then they never have to worry about it. Instead they have to claim things and then pull back. It’s. Shitty business model and one of many reasons I will never buy a tesla.

But the blowback will only happen because of their business model of saying one thing and doing another. If the limited this to the reduced rate from the start there’s no chance of blowback.

You mean after all the claims that Tesla has made and all the articles that have been written about how you can use the supercharger network to go coast to coast or wherever you want, nobody thought that people might actually DO IT? When you offer an 8 year, UNLIMITED MILE battery warranty, you have to assume people

The problem with your example is that the laptop doesn’t go into permanent thermal throttling.

“ It will take 7 years for the increased cost of a Model 3 over my wife’s Prius to even break even bahahaha. Such a joke.”

Haha, not even close. It will take 7 years for the increased cost of a Model 3 over my wife’s Prius to even break even bahahaha. Such a joke.

Then they should be up front and have this in their paperwork. This sounds more like how Tesla now limits the number of times you can launch it in ludicrous mode all without informing the owner.

Crappy drivers with big egos.

just a case of drivers rapidly running out of skill

Yeah, no.

I disagree. His wipers went on because he tried to clean his windshield mind corner. Clearly (no pun intended) he was out of washer fluid which upset the weight distribution of the car from the get go, putting 87% of the weight over the rear wheels causing understeer.

He would’ve survived only if he had recently installed a Cobb short throw shifter. That would’ve changed everything.

A pro wouldn’t have been doing 70-100mph on a public road, passing cars over a double-yellow.

Maybe he will now. Oregon State Police have a crime reporting email address.
