You have to be wealthy,.. at least wealthy enough to own a home,.. with a garage. If you’re like most Brits, you park on the street, or in a small driveway, and plugging in isn’t very do-able.

Gridlock is all that happens in Shanghai. An hour south is Hangzhau. There in the edge of Westlake there are Ferrari dealers etc. Still not much cool car stuff though.

Electric cars are only for those who’ve done well enough in life to be able to afford a house,.. with a garage. It makes no sense to build cheap electric cars,... ever. They need to be at least as nice as a Ford Fusion,.. and go all the way up to S-Class, or they won’t do well.

I drove one of these a couple years ago.

They have inspections yearly in Virginia before you can renew our tags,.. but somehow every fifth car is one of these ultra-low performance lifted trucks.
