Well,.. if you’re going to mandate that the cars be unfathomably complex (which they did),.. and then mandate a very limited spec ECU (which they do),.. then you’re essentially forcing the driver to stare at a computer screen for most of the lap instead of looking where they’re going. Ah yes,.. the last Indy 500. I miss that race. I used to race sailboats on Sundays back in those days,.. and that was before DVR. I missed 4 out of the last 5 Indy 500's. I wish they’d bring that race back.
