Or, you know, a battery pack with jumper cables?  You can save yourself, or others, without needing a second car.

My cat would destroy this within 30 seconds.

When she was threatened, I said welp, there goes that villain...

I believe Admiral Janeway retroactively updated that reg to include holo doctor episodes

yeah putting a black woman in charge and building a queer community on the ship sure are meaningless at a time when racist, religious extremists are attempting to remove the franchise from black folks and sack congress. /sarcasm

I hope they make Saru an ambassador-at-large or something, so he can remain on the ship without the “who’s in charge” issue. He’s just a great embodiment of the ideals of the Federation.

SHE’S A QUEEN!!!!

My favorite part of the episode?

Starfleet Regulation 604—J: Punny titles are restricted to Q episodes only.

The season 2 finale was called “Such Sweet Sorrow?”

What a waste of an opportunity to call an episode “Such Sweet Saru”, you absolute dummies.

I assume the Darksaber can’t cut through Beskar because it’s a lightsaber, and it’s been established that lightsabers in general can’t cut through Beskar. We see this specifically when Ahsoka battles Din and he’s able to fend off her lightsaber with his gauntlets.

One bit that bugged me:

Book 7 starts with a thirty-year time jump and a brand new storyline. A fun expansion of the novels, but hardly necessary for the show.

That sucks. They should be able to get at least 3 more seasons out of the books released so far, if they tried even remotely.

There’s more than a few shows that take a season or two to really hit their stride, or play a long game/adapt a long story, or have short seasons. I always thought 5-7 seasons was the sweet spot, it’s the ones that go for tens of seasons that really drag. I suspect you’ve missed a bunch of good shows, if you can only
