But for some reason the timing, reach, and speed of all this guy’s X and O attacks means I’m vaguely competent when I play as him. I don’t know what it is, but no other fighting game character seems to play…

Bob Ross was immensely popular when he was alive, and I vividly remember watching his shows as a young kid when he was still going. Yeah, he’s getting more ‘public’ fame now because of the nature of the internet, but that’s all it is.

Great to see this series continue to hit the right notes since its rebirth. It’s an important franchise (like Metroid... eh, Nintendo?), so it’s great to see it really establish itself again.
