I have to second this, Myles. I actually posted last week that I couldn’t understand why Beard never mentioned anything to Ted about Nate. I don’t know if there’s some sort of code going on here or some adherence with regard to hierarchy, but Beard has never been one to keep his opinions to himself with Ted. I know

It is 100% the head coach’s responsibility to know that one of his coaches is bullying players and employees, and it became Beard’s responsibility once he saw it happening and failed to recognize when it wasn’t stopping.

Glover said yes when asked about it during the reunion, no? In McHale and Jeong’s podcast, they said after the reunion everyone was in a place where they would want to come back.

I rewatched Community last year and really enjoyed it so I may be more tolerant and a bigger fan of what you're discussing - however I can't dispute a single word you've said.

I didn’t forget that (or say anything about S4 even) if you got that out of my post. S4 does feature the incredibly dumb “Changnesia” plot though and is definitely my least favorite season (confirmed on a recent rewatch).

I wonder sometimes if people forget that the Dictator Chang episodes were in season three and not season four.

Brown will be back, for sure. She only ditched in season 6 due to her father’s poor health.

Who cares who the movie is for? If you have a good story, make it. If not, don’t.

Great point!

“Here’s the biggest philosophical question: Are you supposed to service a mythical new viewer? The obvious, dogmatic, practical, off-the-street answer is like, no, you don’t. It’s fan service,”

The movie was all the friends we betrayed along the way.

I got a Community notification for this?

Not to comment on the specifics of this case, but on a broader issue it brings up:

I gotta say, this SeanT’s dude tactic of, “people are being unfair to Chris Hardwick/women are CRAZY LIARS....EVERYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH ME IS TRUMP,” gets some points on the creativity scale. That’s a hell of a leap to defend a dumb, dumb take.

That was a ridiculously long rambling screed of, “I want to in the middle,” nonsense, which is funny because you showed your ass almost immediately when your “fair” take on it was to chalk Hardwick’s behavior up as him just trying too hard to be funny, and her behavior/words as the sign of someone who is “unhinged.”

So, you want us not to believe women. But you also want us to believe you when you tell us about all these horrible women that you’ve personally met, but we wouldn’t know because they don’t go to our school. If we don’t give them the benefit of the doubt, why should we give it to you?

You don’t write very well.

I don’t get the appeal. I’ve always felt that James Corden was high school charismatic. Like he seems like a nice guy that would get along with the jocks and the nerds equally and has some talent, but he seems like he should have really peaked at high school drama and then went into corporate communications.

and Thanos was a known universal threat that goes around killing half the population of planets willy nilly,

Whenever you have beef with Sir Patrick Stewart of all people, it’s over. Go home.
