But this says they aren’t generally employees. Yes, the NWTA has some appearance as a union and belongs to the AFL-CIO, but they don’t have collective bargaining rights:

Wait, so you are saying the 2015 Toyota Sequoia is safer than the 1999 Crown Vic that did 200K as a cop car before becoming a cab?

Not really though. People rarely balked at the price of cabs in most cities. It is the fact that most cabs weren’t sanitary, hailing cabs was hit or miss, ordering cabs was a crapshoot, and the rider experience was regularly unpleasant. Cabs could have shut down Uber in a month by making a universal app and making

Uber drivers have absolutely no obligation to the company that “employs” them either. I’m amazed at how up in arms people are about Uber. Their workers are absolutely the definition of independent contractors.

Most cabbies are employees of cab companies that actually own the medallions and the cars.

Most cabbies are employees of cab companies that actually own the medallions and the cars. The drivers work regular shifts and can be dispatched anywhere, in contrast to Uber drivers who self-direct both their hours and their assignments.

This is an ironic article being that Uber wouldn’t even exist today in most cities if it wasn’t for the greedy and controlling cab unions.

That and the steering wheel are the only things I don’t like about it. And I’m not sure what they could have done better with the steering wheel. It just looks so out of place to me.

Personally, I would rather have the outside handles. That’s a mod that I don’t really care for. Really like the car though.

It’s a phenomenal vehicle.

Yeah, I definitely want to hear more about that. I’ve long wondered if that happens.

Hate to break it to you, but the Democratic party thinks single-digit millionaires are upper middle class too.

Somehow we never see articles like these going on about how little boys shouldn’t dress as Deadpool, or Wolverine.

where did i say anything about white people? anything at all.

I agree to an extent. If you want to make that point, it certainly changes the tone of the article, which is “group A is beating up against group B.”

She was already found guilty, but because she had no “intent” or whatever reason they gave, they let it go. I mean, they really let it go because they don’t want Trump in power and because the Clintons have so much dirt on people and so many bribes going out that it’d be impossible to throw either of them in jail.

As a TDI owner, my main complaints were with the use of CTI Value instead of the Private Party Value. If they are using the Clean Trade In Value, I should get the tax benefits of actually trading the vehicle in. But it isn’t being processed this way, so not only did I pay taxes on my 1.5 year old vehicle, but I’m

Serious question. Is spending 90k on a pickup truck any worse than on a sports car or a luxury sedan?

Some people dont need a super useful truck. I need a truck to haul supermotos to the track. Thats it. All I do is drive long distances down highways to kart tracks and race my bike. No mud like ever. Luxury trucks are perfect for me. Im sure there are TONS of other people in different but similar situations.

And his speech on the military industrial complex is hilariously depressing when you remember Hillary Clinton is going to be the next president.
