On a daily basis, I find myself doing routine things like drinking a glass of clean water, taking a hot bath, cooking food, etc., and wonder how long it will be before doing those things seems like a distant dream.

I grew up in the 80s near all the chemical and oil refineries in Louisiana. My brother made sure to tell me that the “commies” would be nuking us first for that reason. Now I’m in New Orleans and people don’t think they’d nuke us here and I’m like THE OIL REFINERIES PEOPLE WE’RE DOOMED.

I ended a near-20-year friendship with someone because he voted for Jill Stein in FLORIDA. F#$%ING FLORIDA.

I have bipolar disorder and I almost didn’t make it. The ACA showed up just in time for me. Now I’ll lose my access to healthcare completely and what will happen to me without it would be worse than death. I have no plans to face that. The day I run out of meds and can’t get more, I’m out.
