It’s a shame that we live in a world where victims feel the need to defend themselves. No SANE person would ever think that a group of people will coordinate multiple attacks across different states just for sympathy. To steal Trump’s favourite adjective, Sad!

The whole “the presidency will change him” thing was such BS. He’s 70, if nothing like: going to college, getting a job, getting married, having children, having a failed marriage or having failed businesses didn’t change him, why on earth will a new job change him now?!

I’m lowkey worried that this is all a distraction though. They’re rolling back on financial regulation (because that’s apparently how you stick it to the elites at Wall St.) but no one’s giving that full coverage because of the total clusterfuck that’s the Muslim Ban.

Bercow isn’t a Tory, he’s the Speaker for the House of Commons (basically his job is to try to stop opposing parties killing each other). He’s also supposed to be apolitical, so this move is even more significant because it’s not as if he’s trying to gain favour within his party/constituents.

I’m not quite sure why American media has such a high opinion of her. She comes across as a little flakey here in Europe. Her handling of the migrant crisis was pretty awful and more like a PR stunt than an actual plan. Now that the cameras have turned away, no one is focusing on how poorly things have turned out.…
