It’s a shame that we live in a world where victims feel the need to defend themselves. No SANE person would ever think that a group of people will coordinate multiple attacks across different states just for sympathy. To steal Trump’s favourite adjective, Sad!

There was a really interesting article on this in the guardian:

That’s my biggest problem with Trump. Even if you believe that Hillary was just as bad (which I strongly disagree with) AT LEAST the people she surrounded herself with weren’t purely toxic.

The whole “the presidency will change him” thing was such BS. He’s 70, if nothing like: going to college, getting a job, getting married, having children, having a failed marriage or having failed businesses didn’t change him, why on earth will a new job change him now?!

Exactly! Didn’t they say they weren’t coming for LGBTQ rights? Didn’t the kushner’s “push him to do the right thing”? But apparently we’re being hysterical by complaining about ‘things he hasn’t even done yet’. I don’t trust a word that comes out of that radioactive kumquat’s mouth (or fingers).

People (not necessarily you) keep saying this like they deserve some sort of fucking medal. Round of applause, you stopped daddy from being a humongous douche instead of the massive one he already is. How about you push him to do good instead of preventing him from doing bad. Like, how close are we to that paid

Hmm, I never thought of that. I keep forgetting that as a liberal Brit, what I consider normal would probably be socialist to most Americans and what they find normal would be outrageously conservative to me. :/

Don’t expect any form of logical thinking from the Daily Mail. I read a ‘most popular’ comment on there once about how Trump is doing Mexicans a favour by asking them to build the wall because he’s teaching them how to stand in their own feet. *eye roll*

THANK YOU!!! You’re brain is way more elastic as a child, so the ability to learn multiple languages during childhood isn’t a strong indicator of intelligence.

I’m lowkey worried that this is all a distraction though. They’re rolling back on financial regulation (because that’s apparently how you stick it to the elites at Wall St.) but no one’s giving that full coverage because of the total clusterfuck that’s the Muslim Ban.

Bercow isn’t a Tory, he’s the Speaker for the House of Commons (basically his job is to try to stop opposing parties killing each other). He’s also supposed to be apolitical, so this move is even more significant because it’s not as if he’s trying to gain favour within his party/constituents.

Exactly! Considering how anti-abortion they are, you’d think they’d be giving BC out like candy.

I apologise to all Americans who have to listen to the bullshit that comes out of that fascist’s mouth. Farage is a colossal twat.

Lol, I started noticing bags around my eyes and permanent smile lines this year (i’m 20) and I didn’t know why. Clearly I’ve been 2016-ed as well

I’m not quite sure why American media has such a high opinion of her. She comes across as a little flakey here in Europe. Her handling of the migrant crisis was pretty awful and more like a PR stunt than an actual plan. Now that the cameras have turned away, no one is focusing on how poorly things have turned out.

Cut her off. It sounds so harsh but I’ve been there before, I had a friend EXACTLY like that.

They say that history is written by the winners and I’m absolutely terrified that they’ll make Trump look like the hero and activist groups look like terrorists and dissidents.

What annoys me even more is the hypocrisy.
